The Connecticut Institute for Social Entrepreneurship has released its African Innovators Program 2022 Impact Report. This detailed report highlights our accomplishments over the past year, including key achievements, milestones, our overall impact, and a thorough breakdown of our Africa Innovators Program..

The African Innovators program aims to help young Africans with bold and innovative ideas, or those who already have innovations at an early stage, to promote peace in the African Great Lakes region and improve the lives of refugees, internally displaced persons, and the communities that host them. The program was launched in 2021. In its first year, the program selected 31 young innovators from DR Congo, Uganda, and Zambia. Out of these, 21 were able to launch their innovations after completing the program, and 10 were able to successfully scale their existing innovations, achieving the next level of impact.
