The Connecticut Institute for Social Entrepreneurship (CISE) is dedicated to helping first-time entrepreneurs and local leaders who are committed to creating the solutions for their communities. To achieve this mission, CISE relies on a diverse volunteer force of qualified business experts and recent grads students.

What positions are available that I can apply for?

We have positions available for the several roles, our team will determine what is a good fit, based on your background and interests.

Can I still apply even if I don't have much technical experience or business background?

Our volunteers come from a range of experiences and backgrounds. However, CISE encourages anyone interested in helping others and creating social impact to apply, as we have projects that are more design thinking focused.

What is the expected time to commit as a volunteer?

The minimum time required for a volunteer is 5 hours per week until the task or project is finished.

When is application due?

There is no deadline for volunteer application. The new volunteers are sourced on rolling basis.
