Apply to become International Agent

CISE

The CISE is accepting applications from individuals, business and service provider including travel companies and high schools who want to join our community and become international agent. As an international agent, the selected businesses will help identify potential candidates for our programs through competitive process and assistant them with visa application with the US Embassies.

If you decide to apply to become a Connecticut Institute for Social Entrepreneurship agent, you should complete the application and return to us with supporting documents by email to agents@connecticut.institute. The standard processing time for an agent application is two to five weeks from the receipt of a completed application and supporting documents.

Requirements for applicants

Must be in operations for at least 1 years

Must provide the contact details for two references who can testify or can prove any impact the business or nonprofit has made

Must provide proof of business registration from your country

Must have a bank account under business name to receive the funds for the work and distribute participant stipends for their participation in the regional events

The international agents who want to serve as Regional Agent for the CISE African Innovators program must prove that they can provide logistic support for in-person training and regional events that will be delivered in the Country

If your application is approved, the institute will send you the Agent Agreement for your signature and request the signed Agreement to be returned for processing.

There is no deadline for applications. We accept applications on rolling basis

What if there is a CISE accredited International Agent?

You can still apply even if we already have an agent in your country or region. However, you must provide a statement to prove that your marketing strategy will kill the competition. If you do not provide this strategy and all of the required documents during the application process, your application may be denied.

Is the independent contractor or an influencer eligible to apply?

Yes, influencers, public figures and individuals with strong social media profiles (such as more followers, etc..) are also eligible to apply
