About the Fellowship for Human Rights

 

CISE Fellowship for Human Rights

The CISE Fellowship for Human Rights is a leadership pipeline for students of law and human rights as well as leaders of human rights movement that is designed to identify and support the next generation of human rights practitioners. The Connecticut Institute for Social Entrepreneurship is partnering with a range of universities and educational institutions, and human rights movements around the world to identify future fellows to participate in a 10-days seminar at the CISE campus in Connecticut, US and a 6-months fellowship in their organizations and human rights movements in form of internship and research.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Applicant must be at least 21 years old as of December 16, 2021.

Must be a student of law or a human rights related topic, or recent graduates at the moment of application.

02

Must demonstrate a financial need to advance and commitment to advance human rights and democracy as well as related subjects in his/her country.

How to apply

Candidates must contact the CISE Fellowship for Human Rights team or our Accredited International Agent in their respective countries to receive application package. Application and supporting documents including two letters of recommendation (one from their universities where they’re currently studying and another from the organization or movement you will work during your fellowship to cise@connecticut.insitute with the “Fellowship for Human Rights” in the subject line.
